It's time for our Fall 2007 update and news brief and we'll keep it short as we know many of you lead very busy lives during your journey here in body... Fall has finally fell here in the mountains of Southern Appalachia and most of us are very thankful to have some cooler weather at last. The phone lines have been ringing off the hook in connection with the wonderful Fall weather bringing on the nostalgia and chill in the air that reminds us of our childhood, but also that October 31st is drawing closer. For most of us, Halloween is one of the most festive and anticipated Holidays on the calendar, but most may not realize how it got its start and the spirited history that accompanies this joyful time of harvest colors and celebration... Once again, beginning October 1st 2007, Appalachian GhostWalks and Ghost Tours will present our "All Hallows Eve Ghost Tours" where in combination with any of our regular ten tours in operation, you will learn the Haunted History of Halloween. Come and join us for a walk back through time to learn about and chance to visit with the real Ghosts of Southern Appalachia, otherwise known as, the "People of the Past".
