.::Winter Steel Forum::. :: .:General:. :: .:News & Guest Alerts:. :: 1st Annual ARC Paranormal Investigator Reunion Author Topic: 1st Annual ARC Paranormal Investigator Reunion (Read 114 times) Moon Seeker Administrator member is offline Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 33,938 Karma: 0 1st Annual ARC Paranormal Investigator Reunion « Thread Started on Nov 30, 2007, 7:01pm » What: 1st Annual ARC Paranormal Investigator Reunion Where: Roan Mountain State Park, Roan Mountain, Tennessee When: FRIDAY THE 13th, Saturday the 14th, and Sunday the 15th, June 2008 Who: All investigators, Friends, and Paranormal Enthusiasts of the Alternate Realities Center Description: This will be a fun, informal camping event, but hotels and bed and breakfasts are available just a short driving distance away from the park, which is located in a rural and sacred woodland area. We will supply a list of accommodations providers in later postings on our yahoo group for those who do not wish to camp in the improved campground with bath facilities available at the site. DAY ONE: The 1st Annual ARC Paranormal Investigator Reunion will be held beginning June, FRIDAY THE 13th, 2008 with the gathering starting at 3 PM at Picnic Pavillion #3 inside the Roan Mountain State Park Campground. We are working on having a famous and well known guest speaker for this special evening (Friday the 13th) to speak with us about the latest Bigfoot Research in Texas. More on this in future posts. DAY TWO: The second day will be an interactive and fun attendee supported cookout - a get to know you day, so to speak. This will be an informal day of exchanging and swapping stories of investigations performed by investigators present, as well as a day for making new friends. This part of the program will be held at Pavillion #1, just a short drive, or walk, from the campground. There will be a $10 registration fee from all attendees which must be paid in advance to attend the reunion which is to cover the cost of the pavillions and food purchase for the cookout. We will keep you posted when the link to pay your registration fee is available. DAY THREE: On the last day of the gathering, we will host a trip to the top of Roan Mountain, the 3rd highest mountain on the east coast and home to the world's highest rhodendron gardens which will be in near full bloom that weekend! We will be going up to see a possible UFO landing site and tour areas where crop circles have recently been documented and investigated. This should be a fun day lasting from around 10 AM until around 2 PM and the mountain panoramic views are gorgeous!!! There after, we will bid everyone a fond farewell. We will post more on this exciting event as it becomes available. Also, please don't forget our monthly meetings held on the last Sunday of each month at the JF Toney Memorial Library located at 201 Nolichucky Avenue in Erwin, Tennessee 37692 and beginning at 3 PM. These meetings typically focus on a great number of topics that most folks would not feel comfortable talking about on the internet, let alone amongst the general public. This is your chance to share your views, no matter how "out there" they may be, in an atomosphere of non-ridicule, acceptance, and support. You just don't get that from watching television and conversing online in chat rooms, which can be monitored by uncle sam, or others. Aside from that, the meaning and feeling behind the words are lost. We hope to see more of you there in attendance. Our last meeting was interactive and amazing!!!
