What: The Annual ARC Roan Mountain UFO and Paranormal Reunion Where: Roan Mountain State Park - Roan Mountain, Tennessee When: FRIDAY THE 13th, Saturday the 14th, and Sunday the 15th, June 2008 Who: All UFO and Paranormal Investigators, Friends, and Enthusiasts DESCRIPTION: This is the Alternate Realities Center's 11th Annual Paranormal Gathering at Roan Mountain State Park. It has evolved over the years from a formal conference to a fun, informal camping event with hotels and bed and breakfasts available just a short driving distance away from Roan Mountain State Park and Wilderness areas. The event is held in a rural, woodland area located in a sacred Native American preserve. This is a chance to get together with people of likemindedness and share experiences of your own while hearing about those of others in an atomosphere of acceptance and support. Although this is primarily an informal outdoor event with camp sites provided by Roan Mountain State Park on a first come first served basis, nearby hotel accommodations are available. This will be time to get acquainted, make new friends, and share stories with like minded individuals. At 8 PM we will have a campfire session at the director's tent to tell stories of UFO encounters around a campfire at Roan Mountain Campground... This will be a day to get up and do a presentation about your research and investigative endeavors in your hometown. Day two of the weekend festivities will be held at Pavillion #1 just a short drive, or a short walk from the Roan Mountain campground. There is a minimum $10 registration / donation from all attendees which must be paid in advance to attend the reunion which is to cover the cost of the pavillions on both Friday and Saturday, as well as food for the cookout... Jeffrey Morgan Foss, one of our former guest speakers which was featured at one of our Roan Mountain UFO Conferences a few years ago has agreed to come and give a talk at the pavillion on Saturday. Jeff has an art gallery on our website giving an artistic depiction of some of his life long experiences. Also making a repeat appearance is Mr. Alan Caviness of High Point, North Carolina. Alan has been involved with UFO and Paranormal investigaiton for a number of years and will also be making a presentation at Roan Mountain on Day Two of our weekend gathering. In addition, Stacey Allen McGee, Founder and International Director of The ARC, or The Alternate Realities Center, will be doing a presentation entitled "Creating Your Reality" based on the power of intention which has been shown to have deep ramifications in serious paranormal investigations when drawing to yourself various experiences.
